The domestic violence suit filed against Nigerian music star Sanni Goriola also known as Lil Frosh by his girlfriend, Okeoghene Iyomaterie has been withdrawn.

Lil Frosh was arrested in 2020 for beating his girlfriend to a pulp.

In a post shared via her Instagram Stories on Monday, March 28, 2022, Okeoghene revealed that she has dropped the suit against the rapper.

"I want to thank everyone that stood by me throughout the incident between Lil Frosh and I. I will also like to state that the case between I and Lil Frosh has been withdrawn from the court and we are on good terms. Thank you," she wrote.

The rapper also took to his Instagram page where he shared a letter from his lawyer notifying everyone that the matter has been reconciled.

"On 10th of February, 2021 a criminal charge was instituted against our client which has caused a change in our client’s trajectory. However, it has become imperative that we notify the public and well-wishers that the parties in the criminal suit have reconciled and charges brought against our client was withdrawn on the 14th March 2022," part of the statement read.

It would be recalled that the rapper was called out by his girlfriend's manager and brother, Michael, back in 2020 for assaulting his sister.

Michael went on to share photos of Okeoghene's badly bruised face after she was allegedly beaten to a pulp by the rapper.

Following the allegation levelled against him, his now-former record label, DMW, terminated his contract.

The rapper was later remanded at the Ikoyi prison by the Lagos State Magistrate court in Yaba.
