Amazon smashed all records on Cyber Monday for its best day in history (AMZN)

Cyber Monday 2017 is now the single biggest shopping day in Amazon’s history, surpassing Prime Day 2017.

Amazon App orders on Cyber Monday rose 50% over last year.
The best-selling item on the shopping holiday was the Echo Dot.

Overall, Cyber Monday was the biggest online shopping day in US history, with an estimated $6.6 billion in sales representing a 17% increase over last year, according to Adobe.

By comparison, Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day generated online sales of $5 billion and $2.9 billion, respectively.

Amazon was estimated to be responsible for nearly half of all online sales on Black Friday.
