Musk said the car would have a top speed of about 250 mph.

It will feature Plaid mode, which will enable it to do 0 to 60 mph in just 1.9 seconds.

What's more, it will do a quarter-mile in 8.9 seconds and ...

... zero to 100 mph in just 4.2 seconds.

Besides its impressive speed, it also has a 250-kilowatt-hour battery pack, giving it an incredible range of 620 miles, the company claims.

It seats four people and has a removable glass roof.

And, just check out that steering wheel.

The base model of the Roadster will begin at $200,000, and if you want a Founder's Series vehicle, you'll have to shell out $250,000. A reservation will set you back $50,000 for the base model.
