Mikel is one of the highest paid African players as at 2017. For wearing the jersey of Tianjin TEDA, Mikel earns a weekly wage of £140,000 ($194,600) which amounts to around £7.56 million ($10.5 million) annually.
His endorsement deals
John Obi Mikel also makes a lot of cash from his endorsement deals with multinational companies such as PEPSI, Samsung and Nigerian Breweries Plc (Amstel Malt).
