The road to the perfect bod can be riddled with tasty treats, demoralising traffic and just plain ol' laziness. But according to fitness buff, Maje Ayida, these things no longer have to be a detractor as there are ways to turn them around in our favour.

Maje who was a recent guest at Pulse TV Live shared 3 easy tips to get us on the road to achieving that perfect body.

  1. Just start: According to Maje, there doesn't need to be an elaborate plan in place before you begin your fitness regimen. You could start by just doing sit-ups everyday, after you've started then you can begin to make bigger plans as you go along.

  2. Never skip more than 3 days of exercise: With exercise, 3 days can quickly become a week and then a month and just like that you're off the wagon. There should never be an excuse to go more than 3 days without exercise as consistency is key in achieving results.

  3. Exercise while working: For the Eden Lifestyle CEO, no amount of exercise is enough to balance out a sedentary lifestyle so a great trick to sneaking in a quick exercise routine while at work is to pace while you're on the phone. Rather than take the call sitting on your desk, get out and pace around the office.
