President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed surprise at the raging controversy over his delay in appointing ministers into his cabinet.
“I don't know why people are so anxious to have ministers,” President says
Buhari explained that he was not in any hurry to choose ministers because he needed to make informed decisions on the appointments.

The President made the comments on Monday, June 15, 2015, during an interview with AFP on the sidelines of the African Union (AU) Summit in South Africa.
“I don't know why people are so anxious to have ministers, but eventually we will have. I am not in a hurry to get ministers,” Buhari said.
He also said that audits were currently being carried out in various government departments -- the finance and petroleum ministries in particular -- to try and establish what situation they were left in by the previous administration.
“I want to get ministers after at least I have seen this report, so that I don't have to appoint a minister today and sack him next week,” he added.
Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Bode George has accused Buhari of waiting for All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Bola Tinubu to choose ministers for him.
