Senate confirms President’s nominees as Supreme Court judges
Both judges were Justices of the Court of Appeal before their nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The two judges were confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday, October 18, via a new electronic voting procedure.
38 Senators voted in support of Justice Ejembi Eko and one Senator voted against while 38 Senators also voted for Justice Amina Augie and one against.
Both judges were Justices of the Court of Appeal before their nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari.
