Family, Friends & Colleagues Pay Tribute To Amaka Igwe at Service of Songs

With the tears still flowing, Nollywood practitioners, family members and friends, on the 9th of June, gathered to pay tribute to the late Nollywood producer Amaka Igwe.

Last night, Monday, June 9, 2014, a service of songs began the final journey of veteran Nollywood Icon, Amaka Igwe.

Friends, Family and Colleagues all gathered at the to pay tributes to the respected producer, the service of songs had the likes of Patrick Doyle, Iretiola Doyle, Wunmi Obe, Onyeku Onwenu, Waje, Kate Henshaw, Tunde Kelani, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Ego Boyo and others in attendance.

The Filmmaker will have another service of songs at the Okpara Square, Enugu on June 12, 2014. She will be led to rest at Ndiuche Arondizuogu, Imo State on June 13, 2014.

Amaka Igwe is survived by her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother and siblings.
