Super Eagles of Nigeria legend Augustine Jay-Jay Okocha teamed up with American boxing promoter and legend Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Okocha linked up with Mayweather in Abu Dhabi ahead of his exhibition fight with Don Moore.

The fight between Mayweather, a former boxer and Moore, his former sparring partner was another promotion event in Abu Dhabi.

Mayweather vs Moore

The fight was for eight rounds with no winner at the end. The fighters had two minutes in the ring with the only way to be victorious through a knockout.

Although it was an exhibition fight, Mayweather Jr. took his opponent to school and gave the fans a treat.

Floyd, who is one of the greatest boxers of all time, gave his experienced opponent a proper beating.

Moore showed great resistance but was given a boxing lesson by the 45-year-old Mayweather now out of his prime.

Speaking after the fight, Mayweather thanked the organizers and fans in attendance and made assurances to return to Abu Dhabi next year.

He said, "I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight.

"This is one of the best countries in the world. Don Moore is still undefeated, we are both still undefeated.

"I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It's a secret. I don't want to let the cat out the bag right now but we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE."
