The shrill sound of the phone and its constant vibrating made me sigh. People don't give up even when you ignore them.

There's no way to explain the terror that grips one's heart when you are confronted with the possibility that you might lose someone close to your heart. Nothing can console  you when you finally discover that you have lost a loved one: a wife, a child, a spouse, a parent, a friend.

You can scream and rant at the injustice of it all, throw your anger at the world for taking away someone so precious to your heart but when the cold reality of your loss sets in, you can only feel empty.

Recently 10 students were killed in car crash at Itori Grammar School Ogun state Nigeria. Yesterday, 20 students lost their lives to a crazed shooter in the United states. No one is ever prepared for the loss of a loved one...you only have memories to hold on to.

We at Pulse.com.ng share the pain of the families who lost children at the Ogun state crash and the Sandy Hook Elementary school shoot out. We pray that God gives you the strength to bear the loss.
