Asisat Oshoala wins Copa De La Reina with Barcelona Femeni to end the season

Barcelona Femeni recorded a 6-1 victory against Sporting Huelva to lift the 2022 Copa De La Reina title on Sunday, May 29, 2022.

Super Falcons of Nigeria star Asisat Oshoala was in action as Barcelona Femeni defeated rivals Real Madrid in midweek to reach the final.

However, Oshoala returned to the bench for the final game of the season against Sporting Huelva.

The 27-year-old was an unused substitute as Barcelona Femeni ran riot against Sporting Huelva.

Barcelona went in front as early as the 25th minute when Sporting Huelva's Emily Dolan scored an own goal.

Mapi Leon made it two for Barcelona in the 32nd minute when she converted a ball through to her by Lieke Martens.

Barcelona went to the halftime break with a two-goal advantage. Sandra Castello Oliver pulled one back for Sporting Huelva in the 62nd minute.

Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic restored Barcelona's two goal cushion when she converted a ball through to her by Martens in the 73rd minute.

Claudia Pina added a fourth in the 80th minute while Martens finally found the back of the net in the 86th minute from a ball through to her by Andrea Pereira.

Alexia Putellas added a sixth from a ball through to her by Pina to wrap up an emphatic victory.

Oshoala won the league title with Barcelona and despite losing the Champions League final to Lyon ended the season in style with the Copa De La Reina.
