RHOC's Tamra Judge just started the keto diet too

She shared the news on her Instagram Stories on Thursday. “Hey guys [I’m] walking to the gym, but I wanted to say something," she said. "So many people ask me about the Keto diet, and I just started it, so if anybody has any good recipes, please send them my way. I’m curious to see if this diet really works,” according to Bravo.

It’ll be a departure from her bodybuilding diet, which she described to the Bravo blog The Feast as “a lot of protein, a lot of chicken breasts, a lot of protein shakes, a lot of egg whites, a lot of steamed vegetables…no processed food, no sugar,” in order to best build muscles.

TBH, it sounds like Tamra's pretty okay with cutting carbs, but, in order to successfully do the keto diet (and reach ketosis, a.k.a. the state of burning fat for fuel rather than carbs), she'll have to cut back on protein too.

(Just a quick FYI: The keto diet is mostly fats-on the diet, they account for 70 percent of your total calories, while protein makes up 15 to 25 percent, and carbs come in last at about 10 percent.)

So yeah, it's rough-but it also seems to help people drop weight pretty easily. Celebs like Halle Berry and Jenna Jameson have gone keto, and say that they’ve never looked (or felt) better.

Maybe all three ladies should start a keto supper club? Just a thought.
