Emma Watson was ranked number 1 by AskMen in their Top 99 Outstanding Women rankings.

Ever since her early turn on the red carpet at just 14 years old, the world has watched Emma Watson evolve from a girly teen to a bona-fide sartorial virtuoso.

While she spent most of her early career wearing a Hogwarts-approved school uniform, she's stuck to her early style mantra: "I'm young, so I'm still experimenting," she said in 2009. "But I think my look is quite British and very much about individuality."

A few years and many memorable red carpet moments later, it's clear that Emma continues to stay true to herself as she puts her signature, sophisticated spin on the hottest trends.

The magazine had this to write about Watson:

In the Harry Potter books, Hermione Granger is an absolute role model. Courageous, loyal and moral to a fault, she embodies the best of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world. So it’s fitting, then, that the 9-year-old girl who was tasked with playing her back in 1999 would grow up to become a woman not so different from the fictional character she embodied. The 24-year-old Watson has noble pursuits in mind, as her alignment with the United Nations’ HeForShe campaign makes clear. Watson is the face of feminism right now, and her efforts will benefit all muggles.

Emma Watson is so many incredible things at once — rich, successful, famous, stylish, beautiful, intelligent, personable, kind. And yet, rather than be content with a life of luxury, she’s thrown her back into a serious social issue in an effort to shift the way our society treats women.
