'Hannibal' star Mads Mikkelsen is in talks to play one of the villains in Marvel's upcoming 'Doctor Strange.'
Mads Mikkelsen is in talks to star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton and Chinwetel Ejiofor in the upcoming Marvel's 'Doctor Strange'.
According to several reports, the 'Hannibal' star is in negotiations to play a mystery villain role in movie.
"After his career is destroyed, a brilliant but arrogant surgeon gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains him to defend the world against evil."
According to earlier reports, Chinwetel Ejiofor will reportedly star as a villain.
To be directed by Derrickson, the movie stars Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange.
Swinton will play The Ancient One: a fictional character in the Marvel Universe. He was the mentor of Doctor Strange and existed as the "Sorcerer Supreme", a title that he wins, during the 20th century AD.
NBC recently cancelled 'Hannibal' which starred Mikkelsen.
