Sony Pictures Animation has announced a release date for third film in the animated franchise as September 22, 2018.

Movie gets release date
Following the success of 'Hotel Transylvania 2', Sony has confirmed 'Hotel Transylvania 3' for September 2018.

Originally released in 2012, the first movie in franchise grossed more than $350 million at the worldwide box office.
The 2015 sequel undefinedhas grossed $373.6 million worldwide.
Currently in it's sixth week of release, was number four at the domestic box office this week.

The second film in franchise featured the voice of Adam Sandler, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, Jon Lovitz, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher and Mel Brooks.
'Hotel Transylvania 2' opened September 25.
