US rapper investigated for allegedly raping 22-year-old girl

US rapper T-Wayne is under investigation after been accused of allegedly raping a 22-year -old woman.

According to TMZ, the 27-year-old rapper was reportedly identified by an unidentified woman, 22, who accused him of raping her. The rapper courted the young woman on Instagram before flying her out to Houston, TX this past July, where he allegedly pinned her down and raped her in a hotel room.

The 22-year-old woman, who hails from Dallas, TX, explained to TMZ that she and T-Wayne met through Instagram in June. She claims that in the following month in July, T-Wayne flew her to Houston so that she could pay him a visit. The two went to dinner together at the Cheesecake Factory, before they both went back to a hotel room. That’s where the woman claims that T-Wayne began to get aggressive with her.

The woman alleges that T-Wayne was "trying to guilt her into having sex," and when she would not, "she says he pinned her down and had sex with her," according to TMZ.

The woman waited five weeks to file a police report because, she said, "she was in shock and it was hard to process." She did file, though, and the cops have now opened a rape investigation, which is currently ongoing.

Neither T-Wayne nor his reps have spoken out on the incident yet. We'll keep y'all posted.
