Singer humiliated in court

The Jamaican singer was forced to pay upto $356K for jewelries collected from 2008-2013 from Avi Da Jeweler in New York

Sean Kingston has been forced by a judge to pay more than $300,000 for jewelries he collected from Avi Da Jeweler from 2008-2013.

In August 2014, the 'Beautiful Girls' singer was dragged to court by the New York City jeweler for refusing to pay for items he had ordered after nearly five years.

Sean vanished with $226k worth of jewelry from 2008-2013 and never paid a dime. Avi also claimed Kingston issued cheques over the years but all of them bounced.

According to the singer's rep, Sean forcefully paid more than $300k and has the cash checks to prove it.

Reports say he could have won the case if he only filed an answer. But because he didn't, the judge just issued a default judgment, to the tune of $356k... way past the $226k he initially owed.

But the question remains: why did Avi kept on giving the dude jewelry when he wasn't paying a dime?
