One person has been killed after a tornado swept through the North Texas town of Cisco.

Local authorities say that several others still remain unaccounted for.

According to National Weather Service spotters,  the Cisco tornado was accompanied by hail as large as oranges.

They also warned of multiple tornadoes in the Great Plains region from Texas to Oklahoma to Kansas throughout that day, even as a woman reportedly drowned in her storm shelter in the wake of unprecedented flooding and tornadoes in Oklahoma.
