Gunmen on Friday opened fire at the entrance of a hotel used by foreign tourists in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Hurghada, security sources said.

It was gathered that one of the gunmen was killed by Egyptian security forces killed.

Two foreign tourists, one from Germany and one from Denmark were said to have been wounded. Security forces had repelled the attack, the report said.
The assailants arrived by sea to carry out the assault, the sources said.
