I will empower women, create 200,000 jobs – Godwin Obaseki

The Edo state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flag-bearer, Godwin Obaseki has promised to create 200,000 jobs.

Obaseki also said he will empower women in the state if he is elected as the Governor.

He also told newsmen that he will make Edo state the agricultural hub of the nation.

Adding that the focus of his administration will be to create jobs and promote industrialisation and entrepreneurship.

Obaseki said this while launching his governorship campaign at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Benin.

The governorship aspirant also promised to ensure constant electricity supply in the Edo state.

Obaseki promised to uphold the legacies of the current Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

The Edo state Governorship elections is slated to hold on September 10, 2016.
