According to Leadership, He said:
“The military should strive to investigate this claim by this Boko Haram escapee. We need them to comb that area and see for themselves if the girls are there.”
“I have called on them earlier to liaise with the locals in the fight against the insurgency. It is the locals that know what is happening and tips and information from them will help in the fight.”
The Chibok girls were abducted on April 14, 2014, and most of them remain in captivity.
