The Chadian army also said, via a statement, that it lost one soldier to the attack while nine others were left wounded.

Large quantities of arms and ammunition and two pick-up trucks were also reportedly seized from the terrorists.
Chad has deployed 2,500 troops to Nigeria as part of a new multinational force created to fight against Boko Haram.
Soldiers from Cameroon and Niger have also joined in the offensive against the group.
