The director general suggested the introduction of “price control mechanism’’ to end the ugly trend in the country.

Ramadan

Musa made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna on Thursday.

“It is unfortunate that traders are using the Ramadan period to exploit people rather than help them."

“In a civilized world, prices of goods and services remain stable during festivities, but it is unfortunate that prices of goods and services are usually on the high side in Nigeria during festivities,’’ he said.
