The Best and Worst of the Encomium White Gig

Getting ready to hit the red carpet isn’t an easy task. From your outfit to your accessories, everything you put on would have to come together to create a flawless finish. This process is made even more difficult when the dress code is a themed one. Here in Nigeria, we are famous for the paparazzi of themed outfits. You are likely to see this - ‘<a href="" id="4e803e3d-fc0f-55b6-bee4-eaa74ca11332">Dress code: Glamorous</a>’ or ‘<a href="" id="2cf01995-480d-5846-92bf-1a13c9f85416">Dress code:...

In the third place is this lil' lady in the dry lace dress. She is classy and elegant on the red carpet in her dry lace dress. The dress is demure with minimal accessories and a nice small purse. Her hair is done in a native twist and her strappy heels look comfortable and accentuates her outfit. This is definitely a less is more look.

Creative is the only to describe this number two best dressed outfit with the balloon hands and the coral beading. Muma G has always been dramatic with her outfit and this is a very good effort from her. Her cinched- in waist is accentuated and gives her a young, girly look.  The headgear is totally unnecessary as a pulled back bun would have finished off the outfit perfectly.

And the winner of the best dressed category is Chika Ike. This has to be the best look for the event. In a sheer chiffon dress, Chika Ike looks like a Grecian goddess. Her purse is minimal and her neck piece is bold and colourful, lending the burst of colour that the white colour ordinarily lacked.

The Worst:

Fourth on the worst dressed category is Empress Njamah. Skanky!!!! There is a rule that if you are gonna show a lot on the top then cover up the top. Apparently Miss Njamah didnt get the memo. She looks like she came to 'trade'.
