This man has been living for 17 months without a heart

Stan Larkin, 25-year-old man whose heart has failed and has been on the organ transplant waiting list for months has wowed the world on how he was able to live 17 months without a heart.

According to , Larkin has been walking around with a backpack which consists of a lifesaving machine that has the functions of a healthy heart.

The lifesaving machine is powered by compressed air that has the functions of a working heart till he can get a transplant.
