The Super Falcons posted a video on their official Twitter account of Waldrum explaining the game and highlighting some key players that performed well in the first clash.

In the video, Waldrum said, "I thought both goalkeepers were fantastic. We've seen Tochi now in two big games also against the USA last year and came on for Chiamaka

"Both goalkeeper's have played extremely well, so I'm confident in our goalkeeping. We have a good core of goalkeepers for our team.

" I thought for me, Rasheedat was the best player in the first half. The best player of both teams on the field. i thought she was fantastic.

" It was good to see Nicole Payne, a young player we are trying to get some experience.

" I think those young players that normally don't play a lot did well.

"A lot of positives from some players that haven't played a lot for us to get to see them in that environment."

The Super Falcons departed Vancouver venue of the first fixture and are now in Victoria City for the second fixture.

Waldrum in another video gave a preview of what Nigerians should expect from the Super Falcons in the second fixture against Canada.

He said, “Obviously anytime you step on the field you want to get a win, you want a result but the purpose of taking on these games is for our development and our preparations for not only AFCON but the World Cup.

“So I was really pleased with the overall performance of the team especially considering five or six key players aren’t here in camp, it gave the opportunity for some other players for us to look at. But overall I was really pleased for the performance.

“We will make some decisions on how we want to play in the second match. We will make some decisions on whether to play with the same line up, the same formation of we will twick somethings a little bit because it gives us the opportunity to experiment.

“So we will see what that brings tomorrow but I’m going to expect the same kind of effort and performance out of the players we had in the first match.

"And I think we can take probably 60 positive minutes out of the first match and now the key is to see if we can build on that and get more minutes out of them in the second.”
