A student was reported to have invented and suggested a device which she hopes will end what she terms 'barbaric' toilet paper.

In a bid to change our bathroom habits, Miki Agrawal, from Montreal, Canada, has invented a mini bidet-like device that can be clipped onto most toilets.

The compact product, named Tushy, is designed to clean people's backsides by shooting a jet of water where needed.

We asked Pulse readers if they would choose the Tushy over a toilet paper and a 100% of the readers agreed that they would give up toilet paper for the Tushy.
