Readers vote against marrying someone older by 20 years

A slight majority of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters do not think it is cool getting married to a partner who is 20 years older than the person in response to our poser yesterday: Can you marry someone who is 20 years older than you?

Many of those who voted against the idea are of the belief that though marriage is a private matter of the heart, age should also be taken into consideration when considering a life partner.

Those who voted that they will gladly settle down with an older person however, argue that age is nothing but numbers and as such, should not be a determining factor in marriage.

46.8 % - Yes

53.2 % - No
