Pink Just Posted A Clapback Instagram Of Her Daughter To Defend Jessica Simpson's Parenting

If youre a celebrity parent who posts photos of your kids, youre probably going to come across the parenting police at some point. No one knows this better than Pink, who just had the coolest response to Jessica Simpson getting mom-shamed .

Backing up a sec: Jessica shared a photo on Instagram earlier this week of her 7-year-old daughter Maxwell with the tips of her hair dyed purple. Jessica wrote in the caption that Maxwell was inspired by the hit Disney movie Descendants (Dove Camerons character Mal has purple hair), and Maxwell looked pretty thrilled with her new look.

Naturally, Jessica's social media followers had Thoughts and they werent all positive. "So young its a shame," one wrote. "So sad to see a child this young getting her hair dyed," another said. "She looked so much prettier with her natural golden locks. She still should be a child in every sense. That time is short." Others questioned how safe it was for Maxwell to have her hair dyed.

Enter Pink. The singer, who has dealt with her own fair share of mommy-shaming (to the point where she once said she was done posting pics of her kids online ), clapped back at Jessica's trolls by posting an Instagram Thursday night showing that shed dyed her 8-year-old daughter Willows hair blue.

What she wrote in the caption is so, so Pink. "I heard people were bummed on Jessica Simpson for letting her seven year old get her hair colored," she said. "So we thought wed share what we did yesterday."

Oh, and her hashtags were just as #onbrand for the popstar, too. They spanned from "blue hair don't care" and "get your own kids" to "parenting police are actually just lonely sad people" and "ill dye your hair too losers." She also turned off the comments for her post, which she referenced with the hashtag #ohlookmanocomments.

Clearly, Jessica cant comment on this post, but Im guessing shes applauding Pinks move.
