MTN denies making branded condoms

After a picture of MTN branded condoms surfaced on the Internet early this week, the telco has come out to distance itself from the contraceptive.

In a statement released two days ago, June 16, 2015 the company is not in the business of making condoms.

"Our attention has been drawn to a photograph of an MTN branded contraceptive (condom), currently making the rounds on various social media platforms.

Please note that MTN Nigeria does not manufacture condoms and we disassociate ourselves from any communication or pictures posted on social media that suggests otherwise" read the statement.
