Many People Feared Dead As Bomb Explodes In Kano

A bomb is said to have exploded in the Northern state of Kano today leaving an unidentified number of people dead.

The blast reportedly occurred at about 3:00pm around the New Road Motor Park in the Sabon Gari area of the state.

Official casualty figures have not been released but unconfirmed reports say as many as 10 people have been injured.

This comes barely 24 hours after 2 bombs went off in central areas of Kaduna killing about 80 people.
