This country just invented a strong liquor that doesn't give you a hangover

North Korea is in the news again but this time they have finally invented a type of booze that doesn’t give you a hangover.

You can get absolutely battered on ginseng liquor without fear of a hangover, according to the DPRK’s Pyongyang Times.

The state newspaper claims that the Taedonggang Foodstuff Factory has created a ginseng liquor which eliminates hangovers.

The Pyongyang Times said, ‘Koryo Liquor, which is made of six-year-old Kaesong Koryo gingseng, known as being highest in medicinal effect, and the scorched rice, is highly appreciated by experts and lovers as it is smooth and causes no hangover.’

The key is that the drink replaces sugar with scorched glutinous rice, according to the paper – meaning you can swill the stuff down without suffering from a morning head.

Well, we are not too quick to believe this news because North Korea also claimed to have invented a cure for AIDS last year.
