10 funny but stupid Internet slangs added to the Dictionary
Dictionary.com announced this week that it has added over 150 new word entries to the dictionary.
Here are some funny words added including their meanings:
1. Bestie (noun)
“A person’s best friend.”
2. Yaaas (interjection)
"Yes! (Used as a strong expression of excitement, approval, agreement, etc.)”
3. Sapiosexual (noun)
“A person who finds intelligence to be a sexually attractive quality in others.”
4. Digital Citizen (noun)
“A person who develops the skills and knowledge to effectively use the Internet and other digital technology, especially in order to participate responsibly in social and civic activities.”
5. Drunk Text (verb)
“To send a text message to someone while intoxicated.”
6. Facepalm (verb/interjection)
“The gesture of placing the palm of one’s hand across the face, as to express embarrassment, frustration, disbelief, etc.”
7. Feels (noun)
“Strong, often positive feelings.”
8. Fleek (adjective)
