Justice Ekwo ruled to discharge Bodejo after Aderonke Imana, representing the AGF, submitted an oral request to withdraw the three-count charge.

During Wednesday's hearing, Imana informed the court of her oral application, citing Section 108 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015.

Imana stated that the request was also based on the AGF's authority under Section 174 of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), noting that the Attorney-General had instructed her to withdraw the charge in the interest of justice.

Bodejo's counsel did not oppose the application and thanked the AGF for his generous decision.
