Couple officially go on break

Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger have broken up after dating for nearly five months.

Close sources confirm their split but do not know if its permanent or temporary.

News of their split comes after pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger's son showing him flirting with a brunette in Cabo, Mexico popped online during the Spring break.

All had seemed ok when they were spotted on a dinner date a week after the incident and in March, the couple also had dinner with Patrick's mother, Maria Shriver at The Palms restaurant.

They also spoke of getting married while they were dating. So what went wrong?

Patrick was seen at the Coachella Music Festival all by himself while Miley has reportedly been attending several events on her own.
