?Mag- 5 +1 Disappointing Albums Of 2011!

A lot of good things happened in the Nigerian music industry in the year 2011 in fact many people smiled to the bank and are still smiling. However there are a few things to reflect on and review, one of which is the album releases this year.

According to QuestionMark Magazine these are the five (5) + 1 listed (we would rather say nominated) Disappointing albums of 2011;

Major issue: makes an almost ‘desperate’ desire to be commercial, to be pop.

Major issue: Nothingness!

Major issue: fell short as a body of work.

Major issue: fell flat.

Major issues: had the weakest lyrics from the twin and insulting enough one of the single – Bunie eya saw no attempt at work.

Major issues:unimaginative and one-dimensional. From the beginning to the end it’s the same rhythm tweaked to suit the different instrumentals. The production is scarcely anything to boast of as most of the producers churn out formulaic beats for the guys to sing on.
