Okeke who was charged with one-count of adultery, was said to have had sex several times with Chinenye Anozie, who is married to a businessman, Emeka Anozie, and had been warned to stay away from the woman but he refused.

The complainant, who resides in Hayingada, Saminaka in Kaduna State, made the complaint against Okeke through his counsel, Obioma Achilefu, claiming that the defendant, knowing that he was legally married to Chinenye, committed adultery with her on December 18, 2014.

Emeka also claimed that he had confronted Okeke on the issue over the cell phone and he confessed to have had sex with Chinenye only once but after that, he still continued to sleep with the woman, adding that on August 18, 2015, Okeke went ahead to send transport money to his wife who was schooling in Anambara State, to visit him at his residence and she did.

The bitter husband also told the court that his wife was with Okeke from that date till  August 28, 2015, before she went back to school, an action that 'wounded his heart beyond measure.'

When the charge was read to Okeke, he pleaded not guilty to the offence and Kagarko admitted Okeke to bail in the sum of N100,000 and one surety in like sum, while adjourning the case till August 30 for hearing.
