Friends beg for money to pay legal fees for media personality

After spending close to two months in prison custody, friends of the media personality have begged Nigerians to donate money for her legal expenses.

The daughter of the former Governor of Oyo State, Victor Olunloyo, was remanded in prison custody by a Magistrates' Court  Port Harcourt, Rivers State, after a frontline man of God, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, got her arrested for allegedly publishing defamatory and malicious stories against him.

Shortly after she was granted bail, she was rearrested after a Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo who was also mentioned in the said defamatory publication had filed a case at a High Court in the state.

She was also granted bail in the sum of N200,000 but has been unable to meet her bail conditions which have made her remain behind bars till now.

However, Olunloyo's media handlers and close friends have taken to the social media to beg Nigerians to donate towards her legal expenses.

Kemi Olunloyo has had several run-ins with many celebrities in Nigeria with her brand of journalism by which she exposes their alleged secret deals and got away with them but this time, it seems she has picked on the wrong set of people.
