A new mum literally gave birth after laughing very hard at a panto. Metro UK reported.

Pregnant Kirsty Reed, 30 was in the audience for Cinderella at Plymouth’s Theatre Royal last Saturday.

She laughed so hard, she began to experience contractions. And that night, she went into labour two weeks early.

Her first child Ruben James Reed was born the next day.

Kirsty who is a dockyard worker described Ruben as ‘my very own panto baby’.

She says he was spurred into action by the star-studded panto cast, featuring Gok Wan as the Fairy Gokmother and funnyman Paul Zerdin who plays Buttons.

Kirsty said: ‘From start to finish it was absolutely brilliant. Paul was so funny we just giggled like children the whole way through.

‘I laughed all the way through and I think the enjoyment and the laughter helped to bring him into the world.’

The cast said they were ‘thrilled to have played a part in the happy event’.
