3-year old boy dies after shooting himself in his father's shop

The boy was with father Manal Abdelziz in the Laurinburg, North Carolina convenience store at about 11am yesterday when he found the gun under the cash register and pulled the trigger.

The toddler was pronounced dead at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Local News reported.

Robeson County District Attorney’s Office are still deciding whether to charge Mr Abdelziz with his son’s death.

In the U.S, it is illegal to have an unsecured gun in the presence of a child.
