Couple goes viral after driving through streets in motorized papasan chair

A photo showing the couple crossing Olympic Blvd. in Los Angeles went viral after it was posted to Reddit by user socalsubie on Monday.

Soon afterward another user shared a link to a post showing what appeared to be the same couple driving the vehicle on a local sidewalk approximately two weeks earlier.

A Reddit user BooBooKitty, who claimed to be the man's cousin described the male papasan rider as "a smart guy who likes to work on random projects".

"He comes from a long line of pranksters with good senses of humor," BooBooKitty wrote of the mysterious inventor.
