A group of physically challenged people have rallied together to organize a protest at the Lagos State Governors office, Alausa, Lagos state.

The members of the Physically Challenged Empowerment Initiative took to the streets on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to protest over the closure of Majidun-Owotu center and unlawful detention of their members.
The men carried placards, some of which demanded the return of shops seized as far back as 2012, while lamenting the lack of jobs.
Others sported shirts that had words like, "disability is not a crime nor a choice."
