Man sues daughters for not visiting him enough

Yang Zhengyuan, 69, a father of three from Sichuan province, China has filed a lawsuit against his daughters for not visiting home regularly.

According to Zhengyuan, his daughters have not visited him or supported him financially over the last 10 years.

His daughters, Yang Liu, Yang Qing and Yang Lan on the other hand have counter-sued their father for favouring boys over girls and for not contributing enough for their welfare.

The daughters claim that even if Zhengyuan wins the case, they still would lose their affection for their father.

In February 2016, China passed a law that allows parents to sue their children for not visiting enough.
