The raid on the shop in the capital started when a couple entered the premises holding an infant in their arms pretending to be ordinary shoppers.

CCTV footage shows the thieves looking around and telling owner Marcelo Taraborrelli that they are going to get some cash.

But moments later the man grabs the owner by the throat and forces him to the floor as the baby crawled around the shop.

The owner is kicked, threatened with a gun and tied up as the gang search the shop for expensive items.

A woman brings up a getaway car to the front of the shop, and then goes back inside, where the trio start stealing clothes worth around about 50,000 pesos (10 million Naira).

Daily reported that the Shop owner Taraborrelli said: 'It's a good strategy. It is clear that the woman was using the baby to give the impression that everything was normal.

'The baby couldn't walk, so I think he was probably nine-months to a year old. He is unfortunately an innocent accomplice of the criminals.'
