University students give hardworking security guard an incredible Christmas present

The clip shows a student approach the guard at Georgia Tech college.

He tells the man how much he is appreciated by his 'followers' - the huge crowd of students that have contributed to the gift.

He says: "We just want to show you how much we appreciate you and how much you do for us each day.

"You bring the energy and make our days better.

"We had 150 students come together to give you a token of our appreciation - you can open it up later.

"We made a card for you and wanted to make sure you know how much we appreciate you and how much we love you."

The guard is gobsmacked when he hears they raised $1,600 (480 thousand Naira)

He wipes away tears and embraces the student to a round of applause.
