Girl tries to poison mum twice for seizing her iPhone

A girl in Colorado tried to poison her mum twice by putting bleach in her smoothie as revenge for taking her iPhone.

The 12-year-old who was not named, lives in Boulder, Colorado allegedly made the smoothies and poured in bleach earlier this month.

It didn't kill her mother but burned her throat, but she got treatment for it at the hospital. She thought of the incident as a mistake but only raised an alarm when she attempted it a second time.

When she smelled bleach in the second one, she confronted her daughter who said the bleach was an attempt to take her life was taking away her iPhone.

She was arrested on two charges of attempted first degree murder and she is currently being detained at Boulder County Juvenile Center.
