Idris Elba Meets Barrack Obama At The White House

The star certainly seemed like he was in high spirits as he mingled and chatted with excited well wishers while making his through the gates to the historic residence. The dapper star made sure he wore a smart ensemble for his grand visit to <strong>Obama</strong>’s home. Donning an all black smart shirt, pants and overcoat, he still stuck to his stylistic guns by jamming his bare feet into his shoes [no sucks].

It’s not every day an actor is invited to a screening of his own film at the White House. Reports confirm that the world’s second most powerful man watched the pictures at the private White House theater at 6:00 pm local time as well as Elba, co-star Naomi Harris and two of Mandela’s daughters, Zindzi and Zenani also attended.

Elba had plenty of reasons to smile too, as he is being tipped for an Oscar for his portrayal of the South African leader, who helped end apartheid in the country.
