Identical strangers stunned when they bump into each other
Spookily-similar students Ciara Murphy, from Wexford, and Cordelia Roberts, from the UK, went to study in Bremen, Germany, when they bumped into each other.
Ciara said: ‘When I was going on nights out, people were starting to ask me did I come here with a sister, or a twin.
‘I didn’t know what they were talking about in the beginning, so I was just like “No I’m completely on my own out here.”‘
By sheer coincidence, the two were both studying in the city of Bremen when friends pointed out their remarkable similarity.
When the pair did meet, they posted a selfie to Facebook.
And they were tracked down by Twin Strangers, which pairs people up with doppelgängers.
Incredibly these girls aren’t related, didn’t grow up in the same country, and only met after going to study in Germany.
Ciara’s friend Jessica said they’re now known as ‘the twins’, and added: ‘They’re always together now, they’re like a package deal.
'They have this bond now, just because they look the same.’
