Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru on Monday, August 26 visited his former club Galatasaray to say his goodbyes after sealing a move to Monaco.

Onyekuru was at the Galatasaray training ground on Monday to meet up with his former manager and teammates.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Galatasaray before sealing a permanent move to French club Monaco

He made his second appearance for Monaco on Sunday, August 25 in a Ligue 1 game and made the trip to Istanbul to say his goodbyes to his former club.

Galatasaray shared a couple of photos which showed the Nigeria international with his former manager Fatih Terim.

Henry Onyekuru, who had a double championship with our team last season, visited our training today and wished our coach Fatih Terim and his teammates success for the new season,” Galatasaray wrote on social media. 

Onyekuru, last season scored 14 goals in 31 appearances for Galatasaray who won the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup double.
