Kano Girl in a bowl receives wheelchair after her picture went viral on social media

The photo was retweeted hundreds of times and since then, people from around the country have offered and given support. She has now received a wheelchair and her brother a scholarship from well meaning Nigerians.

Diagnosed with a congenital condition resulting in no lower body, an NGO – Community Health and Research Initiative has also set aside funds for the young boy’s education and the lady’s food and clothing.
